Rogue Aliens: Intergalactic Fugitive ("the Game") is operated by the Rogue Aliens team. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you play the Game, how it is used, and how it is stored.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect the following information when you connect a wallet and interact with the Game:

• Your public wallet address (EVM-compatible, e.g. Ethereum or compatible chain)
• Your in-game score, world reached, and session timestamp submitted to the leaderboard
• Your display name and avatar URL if you set up a Player Profile in the Game
• Records of OBS token transactions processed through the Game shop (item purchased, OBS amount, wallet address, timestamp)

We do not collect private keys, seed phrases, passwords, or any personal identification information such as your name, email address, or physical address.

HOW YOUR DATA IS STORED

Leaderboard scores, player profiles, and purchase records are stored in Upstash Redis, a serverless cloud database. Data is stored by wallet address as the primary key. There is no registration or account system. Your wallet address is your identifier.

Data stored in Redis includes:

• Monthly leaderboard sorted sets keyed by month (e.g. leaderboard:2026-07)
• Player upgrade lists keyed by wallet address
• Purchase log entries used for the admin dashboard

OBS TRANSACTION PROCESSING

OBS token transactions are initiated by your connected wallet using standard EVM transaction flows. We do not process or store payment card numbers, bank details, or fiat currency information. Transaction records (wallet address, item ID, OBS amount, and timestamp) are stored in Redis for administrative and leaderboard purposes.

All OBS transactions are on-chain and final. We have no ability to reverse or refund on-chain token transfers. See our Terms of Service for the full refund policy.

HOW YOUR DATA IS USED

• To display your score on the public monthly leaderboard
• To track which upgrades and items you own in your loadout
• To display your display name and avatar in leaderboard rankings
• To administer monthly prize distributions to top-ranked players
• To operate the game shop and validate purchase history

DATA SHARING

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Leaderboard data (display name, wallet address truncated to first 6 and last 4 characters, score, and world reached) is displayed publicly in the Game leaderboard screen and on the leaderboard page. Full wallet addresses are not displayed publicly.

DATA RETENTION

Monthly leaderboard data is retained for the duration of each prize cycle. Historical data may be retained for record-keeping purposes. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us at roguealiens@proton.me. Wallet-linked data will be removed within a reasonable time after a verified request.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The Game uses the following third-party services:

• Upstash Redis for data storage
• Vercel for hosting and serverless functions
• WalletConnect for mobile wallet connections
• MetaMask and other browser wallet extensions (client-side only, no data shared)

YOUR RIGHTS

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any data we hold linked to your wallet address. Contact us at roguealiens@proton.me or via our Discord server.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Game after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
